Revenge of the League 24

Miss Britain had plenty of time to contemplate the wisdom of her decision to make an alliance with Shadowfox.

Dumped in the sea bound hand and foot with a section of steel girder attached to her ankles, the only thing keeping her from being dragged down to a watery grave was the string connecting her nipples to the buoy which bobbed merrily on the surface above her head.  She had never been in the position of hoping so fervently that strings tied to her nipples were securely fastened.  Her air came through a length of hose stuck - rather flimsily as far as she could see - to the buoy with a single strip of tape.  Every now and then seawater would splash into the hose, forcing her to swallow it, and with every small wave the buoy was lifted up, giving her nipples another painful tug.

Eventually, as Shadowfox must have known, she would wriggle free of her bonds and be able to swim to shore.  In the meantime, she just had to try and console herself with the thought that her current predicament was the result of an act of selfless courage which had saved countless lives.  And the thought that once she was home she would be able to dedicate herself to the goal of seeing that smirking villainess back in jail where she belonged.
